Domain expiry monitoring.
WHOIS-based renewal reminders — before your registrar does.
Every monitored host gets a WHOIS lookup that records the expiry date, registrar and domain registration. Days remaining is computed live, and color-coded warnings light up the dashboard weeks before the renewal lapses.

Scheduled WHOIS refresh
A separate scheduler pulls WHOIS data on a slower cadence than uptime checks, so registry rate limits stay happy while expiry data stays current.
Days-left visualization
The monitor detail page shows the expiry date, a color-coded "X days left" pill, and the registrar name — so a glance tells you whether to renew or relax.
Registrar awareness
We capture the registrar name on every WHOIS read. Useful for spotting a hijacked domain, a recent transfer, or a registrar that quietly went out of business.
Cache + retry resilience
WHOIS results are cached for 10 minutes and a single retry handles the occasional registry timeout — so a transient lookup failure never falsely reports "expired".
Registry-first routing
We go straight to the registry (Verisign, Donuts, etc) instead of chasing referrals to slow or broken registrar WHOIS hosts, keeping refresh times under a second.
Companion free tool
The public domain name check tool runs the same WHOIS pipeline on demand for any domain, plus surfaces availability and alternative-TLD suggestions with prices.
