Terms of Service.

These terms govern your use of the SiteWatch monitoring dashboard, the public free tools, and any related services.

Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SiteWatch (the "Service") — including the dashboard at uptime.nepsesignal.com and the public tools under /tools/*— you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Service description

SiteWatch provides website and API monitoring, alerting, and a collection of free network tools (WHOIS, DNS, SSL, HTTP, ping, port scans, online curl). The dashboard requires an account; the free tools do not.

The Service is provided on an as-is, best-effort basis. While we monitor reliability carefully, we make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Scan, probe, or test the security of any system you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
  • Launch denial-of-service attacks, brute-force attempts, or other malicious activity.
  • Send spam, harvest contact information, or impersonate others.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the Service without permission.
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical controls.

Specifically for the free network tools: lookups are rate-limited to discourage automated scraping. Misuse may result in IP-level blocking without notice.

4. Accounts

To use the monitoring dashboard you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secret. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

5. Monitoring data

You retain ownership of the URLs, endpoints, alert contacts, and metadata you submit. We store this data only to operate the Service and will not sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Third-party content

Some Service responses include data from third-party sources — WHOIS registries, DNS authorities, and target sites' certificates and headers. We don't control and aren't responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or licensing of that data.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteWatch and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reliance on monitoring data — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

9. Changes to the Service

We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We'll do our best to notify you in advance of breaking changes to paid features.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of the Service operator. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and only after that through the appropriate courts.
